Our Ranch

En La Silla Peruvian Horses is located 35 miles west of Minneapolis, Minnesota in an area of green farm fields and remnants of Minnesota's beautiful Big Woods.  Situated on 40 picturesque acres, our facility provides rolling trails across hay fields, over hills and meadows, and contains wooded trails for pleasure riding and conditioning of our horses.

Our facility includes an indoor and an outdoor riding arena, a stable, and numerous paddocks for our horses.  We are fortunate to be located 3 short miles from Lake Maria State Park where we frequently enjoy trail rides.

Our Philosophy

As a breeder of Peruvian Paso horses, we have established guidelines and beliefs in the way our horses are raised and trained.  We count ourselves fortunate to have discovered this truly amazing horse, and find daily enjoyment with our horses.  With a herd of fifteen to twenty horses, and the desire to know and handle each horse as an individual, we are able to raise not only strong, beautiful horses, but also horses that love to be around people.  Our babies are imprinted from birth, handled daily, meet us at the gate, and we continue constant handling as they grow and proceed to the next level of training.
